Julie is an advanced A.R.T. practitioner and has been in practice since 2018. She has also been an acupuncturist and herbalist since 2009, and it was through one of her acupuncture patients that she first heard of A.R.T.
When Julie’s daughter, Mairead, had several severe food reactions and was diagnosed with life-threatening food allergies, the only available option was simple but stressful – avoid the allergenic foods and always carry an EpiPen in case of accidental exposure. Like many families in this situation, it seemed that this was the only path forward.
Until one day, when one of Julie’s acupuncture patients mentioned that her granddaughter was undergoing a therapy that was completely resolving her food allergies. It was called Allergy Release Technique, A.R.T. Not long after, Mairead went through the A.R.T. process and now lives and eats all foods freely. A.R.T. changed her life in a profound way.
When Amy Thieringer, founder of A.R.T., held her first formal training in 2017, Julie felt called to apply and was thrilled to be accepted. She believes that helping others resolve their food allergies and live freely is a true honor and she is proud and grateful to be a part of this ground-breaking movement.
Along with being a Certified A.R.T. practitioner, Julie holds Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine, is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and massage therapist. Julie is also a Master Reiki practitioner. Her experience with all of these modalities informs her work as an A.R.T. practitioner. Julie sees A.R.T. clients at her office in Winchester, MA and at the A.R.T. Headquarters in Lexington, MA.
